On Friday, June 5th, members of Garfield Fire Company No. 1 attended a live burn training at the Bergen County Fire Academy. This valuable hands-on training provided firefighters with the opportunity to sharpen their skills in realistic fireground conditions, enhancing their preparedness and ability to serve the community safely and effectively. We would like to thank the Bergen County Fire Academy staff for providing this excellent training opportunity.

Tonight members of Engine 1 conducted a training exercise on hose line stretches and searches. Members also learned and played the roles of an Incident Commander, Safety Officer, Operations Officer, and Accountability Officer.
