Over the past few days, Garland Fire Department had the privilege of being part of two special celebrations for our local students and community.

For the Garland Elementary Bears, crews brought out the fire apparatus to help students cool off and celebrate the end of the school year the best way we know how — with plenty of water, laughter, and smiles. Watching the kids enjoy the spray on a hot day was a reminder of how important community moments like these truly are.

We also had the honor of assisting with fireworks for the Bear River High School graduation ceremony as we celebrated the Class of 2026. Congratulations to all of the graduates on their hard work and accomplishments. Your future is bright, and we’re proud to support such an incredible community.

As summer begins, we want to wish all students, families, and staff a safe, fun, and memorable break. Whether you’re swimming, camping, traveling, or just enjoying the outdoors — stay hydrated, stay safe, and look out for one another

A huge thank you to Weber Area Dispatch 911 & Emergency Services District for stopping by Garland Fire Department and dropping off treats for our firefighters in recognition of National EMS Week!

We truly appreciate the support and partnership we share with our dispatchers. Every emergency response starts with the calm voice on the other end of the radio, and we are grateful for everything you do for our crews and our community every single day. Thank you for thinking of us and for all the hard work you put in behind the scenes.

Another Thank you to all dispatchers for everything you do for first responders and the communities we serve. We couldn’t do this job without you.

Always an honor to participate.

Today, firefighters from Tremonton Fire and Garland Fire joined Tremonton Garland Police Department in supporting the Special Olympics Torch Run. We were honored to take part in such a meaningful event and help celebrate the outstanding athletes who continue to inspire our communities through their perseverance, passion, and determination. Thank you for letting us share in this special day.

They gave everything.

As we honor our fallen brothers and sisters on National Police Officers Memorial Day, we pause to remember the courage, sacrifice, and dedication they showed in service to others. We are forever grateful to these heroes and others who gave their lives protecting their communities, and to the families who continue to carry their legacy with strength and pride.
