Our roots began in 1825, when many events were taking place in the United States:
- The 2nd Great Awakening of the late 1700s swept across much of America,
giving Christians a deeper interest in missions and motivating many to aggressively share their faith.
- The U.S. How could the Gospel be taken across a land that was growing so quickly?
- Prospects of a new life in a new land brough millions
of immigrants to America in the early 1800s. Ever increasing multitudes needed to know about Jesus Christ. We've come a long way since then:
- Over 1 billion tracts have been distributed by ATS to churches, ministry partners, and individual Christians
- Scores of ministries partner with ATS to develop and distribute relevant tracts, including Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru), Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Family Research Council, Southern Baptist Convention, and Harvest Ministries.
- Through its international division, ATS has 136 print partners in 76 countries who print and distribute tracts in over 100 languages. ATS has always places a high value on equipping Christians with relevant tools to present the gospel of Jesus Christ. Historically, ATS has done that by developing high impact tracts that Christians can use in everyday encounters or in more systematic ways with those who cross their path, including:
- Seekers and skeptics;
- Those seemingly far from Christ but with the door cracked open because of a crisis or loss in their life;
- Those at the end of their rope, desperate, and with no place else to turn. How can ATS help you to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ?
