Bethel Township Resident Notice ‼

We have recently been made aware that Veolia will be conducting its Spring Water Main and Hydrant Maintenance Program in Bethel Township beginning yesterday, June 1, 2026.

🔹During this maintenance, residents may experience temporary low water pressure, reduced water volume, or temporary discoloration/cloudiness of tap water. If discoloration occurs, Veolia recommends running your cold water for a few minutes until it clears.

This preventative maintenance helps ensure high-quality drinking water and reliable hydrant operation for fire protection.

E-Waste Collection Event Reminder♻️💻🖨️

We want to share an important update regarding our upcoming E-Waste Collection Event. In previous years, the township operated under the understanding that most items could be accepted at the event. However, due to updated recycling and disposal guidelines, certain electronic items are now considered unacceptable and not eligible for the collection through this program.

Please review the attached list carefully to see which items are accepted before attending the event.

I understand the concerns and frustrations many have expressed about the Oil & Chip program underway by PennDOT. My hope is to provide as much information as I may to alleviate some of that aggravation.

Here is the latest schedule of roads which will receive the next stages of the treatment. Please know that weather and the holidays impact the schedule. If the timing changes, I will let you know.

•Pyle Road, Beaver Valley Road, and Station Road will be swept in the next 24 hours (this removes loose stones from the surface).
•Fog sealing (or the topcoat which seals in the oil and stones) for Pyle Road, Beaver Valley Road, and Station Road is planned for Wednesday May 27 and Thursday May 28.
•Bethel Road and Garnet Mine Road are scheduled for sweeping and oil & chipping during the week of June 1.

We will continue working with PennDOT and the contractor to provide you the latest information.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave Soldiers who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. ❤️🤍💙

In observance of the holiday, the Township Administrative office will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
