🍔 Free Food: We will be grilling up hot dogs and hamburgers (available while supplies last).
🚒 Station & Truck Tours: Get an exclusive look inside the firehouse and climb up into our modern and vintage apparatus.

Event Details:
📅 When: Next Sunday, June 7th

The Members of the Garrison Volunteer Fire Company are deeply saddened by the tragic house fire that occurred early yesterday morning on Sherwood Road in Cortlandt Manor.

Our hearts and deepest condolences go out to Westchester County Correction Officer Gregory Toone, his wife Yenny, and their entire family following the devastating loss of their two children, 17-year-old Alina and 15-year-old Jeremiah.

We also want to acknowledge the valiant and exhausting efforts of the Lake Mohegan Fire District, and all the mutual aid departments and EMS agencies who responded to the scene under incredibly difficult conditions.

A GoFundMe campaign, "Supporting Officer Toone After Tragic Loss," has been established to help the family with medical bills, funeral expenses, and temporary housing as they navigate this unimaginable tragedy.

We ask our community to keep the Toone family, their loved ones, and the entire Cortlandt Manor community in your thoughts and prayers. If you are able to help out, please consider donating at the link below.

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Fallen Heroes 🇺🇸

Today, the members of the Garrison Volunteer Fire Company pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of our armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Memorial Day is a solemn reminder that the freedoms we enjoy every day come at a profound cost. While we serve and protect our community here at home, we owe an unpayable debt to the heroes who laid down their lives to protect our nation.

We also extend our deepest sympathies and unwavering support to the Gold Star families in our community and across the nation. The burden of freedom is heavy, and your sacrifice is never forgotten.

As you gather with friends and family today, we ask that you join us in taking a moment of silence to reflect on the true meaning of this day.

With our deepest respect and endless gratitude,
The Officers and Members of the Garrison Volunteer Fire Company
