The cemetery is now part of Wreaths Across America! If you would like to purchase a wreath to be put on a family member who is a veteran send me a message and I can share with you how to do it! If you do it by January 16th we receive some wreaths for free

'Tis the season! My sister and I loved this recording when it came out in 1958 (we had it on a 45!) It's message seems more relevant today than ever. Many of the references to commercials are dated now, and unrecognizable to millennials, but it's still fun.

Enjoyed getting to fellowship with everyone at the homecoming today!! I would like to remind everyone of a few things that are not allowed in the cemetery: solar lights, glass containers, wind chimes and other items that makes it hard to mow!

I would like to let everyone on here know that the cemetery is getting mowed about every two weeks, the way it has been raining this may or may not be enough but we are doing the best we can and hope that everyone sees that!! I encourage anyone that has a problem to plan on attending the business meeting next May! I am a volunteer and am doing my part!! Thanking God this evening for AC. The humidity after the rain the past few days in East Texas is stiflingly. Glancing at a school photo of my grandmother’s classmates around 1910-1914 in Mual Texas I doubt these kids could imagine AC.
It’s a shame how things get lost in History. I’m pretty sure that I have several great uncles and aunts in this picture , but I don’t know which ones they are.
I only see a couple of smiles .. even fewer shoes. My grandmother ,Bessie Helpenstell , is second from the lower right.
