We will be having our Bar/B-Que this Saturday, May 2 from 11 to 3 PM. Shortly afterwards at 5pm we will have an auction. We will have some baked goods, a couple of 1/2 cord wood racks, a couple of fi****ms,  some Milwaukee tools , Deer Feeders and a few other items also. So come out and support the fire department after the Bar-B-Que

This weekend Garrison Fire Department hosted the common passenger vehicle extrication class. We want to thank Hopkins Wrecker Service for donating all the vehicles and K.L. Barton & Tie yard for allowing the use of the parking lot and equipment. We also want to thank Republic Rescue for bringing such a great class to help improve the knowledge of the latest and greatest information and techniques. Your instructors are top notch providing a great class!

As y’all are out and about this weekend you may see emergency vehicles from all around the state of Texas. We are hosting and participating in a vehicle extraction class. Tonight we are at the fire department getting all the classroom portion of the school then tomorrow and Sunday we will be at the KL Barton tie yard getting all the hands on experience. This class is to teach the latest and advanced techniques to safely remove an injured person from a passenger vehicle.
