Huge congratulations to the Garysburg Volunteer Fire Department firefighters for successfully completing Rescue Ops 1 and all passing their tests, your hard work and commitment to training truly shows. It’s been a busy week for the department, responding alongside Seaboard to a structure fire Tuesday morning and then handling a tractor fire later that same afternoon. We are incredibly proud of each of you and grateful for your dedication, bravery, and continued service to both this department and our community. We are currently seeking donations of gently used or retired firefighting gear and equipment to support the growth of our Junior Firefighter Program at the Garysburg Volunteer Fire Department. This program gives young individuals the opportunity to learn discipline, teamwork, and the fundamentals of fire service in a safe and supervised environment. Donations such as turnout gear, helmets, gloves, boots, and training equipment play a vital role in providing hands-on experience for our junior members. If you or your department have equipment you’re willing to donate, your support would make a meaningful impact on the next generation of firefighters and help us continue serving our community with pride. **Please, feel free to share**
