Around 6 a.m. on 3/25/26 Gassville Fire and Rescue was called out to a fire at Cranors White River Lodge to assist the Cotter Gassville Rural Fire Department. Midway FD and Cotter Fire-Rescue were also on scene to assist with the fire.

Edit: Burn Ban has been lifted 4/4/26. Burn ban for all of Baxter County is in effect beginning March 24 2026.

This morning at 12 a.m. Gassville Fire & Rescue , Cotter Fire-Rescue , Cotter Gassville Rural Fire Department , Midway Fire District and Mtn Home Fire and Rescue were paged out to a call of a fully involved structure fire right at the Gassville City Limits.
