Our hearts are hurting tonight as it has been announced that Officer Brian Elliot with the Beech Grove Police Department has succumbed to his injuries. Please continue to pray for the other officer as his status is still unknown at this point.

Please pray for the family of Officer Elliot and the Beech Grove Police Department as they are going through this difficult time.

We will hold the line from here

Today, we stand together in love, remembrance, and support for Hailey Buzbee. The Gaston Police Department proudly stands behind Hailey, and behind her family, her friends, the entire community of Fishers and the Fishers Police Department during this difficult time.

Throughout the month of February officers with the Gaston Police Department are authorized to wear a pink badge in the memory of Hailey.

A Tornado Watch is now in effect for Delaware County. This means conditions are favorable for tornadoes to develop. While no tornado has been confirmed at this time, it’s important to stay alert and prepared.

What you should do now:

✅️Review your safety plan and know where you’ll take shelter if a warning is issued.
✅️Identify a safe place: a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor, away from windows.
✅️Charge your phones and keep emergency supplies nearby.
✅️Be ready to act quickly if conditions worsen.

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office would like to share the planned route for Corporal Blake Reynolds’ funeral procession on Saturday, November 22, 2025. The procession will begin immediately after the services, which start at 10:00 a.m. at Delta High School. At this time, we estimate the procession will begin at approximately 1:00 p.m.

We want to thank our community for the tremendous support you have shown over the past several days. We are providing this information so you can plan your travel accordingly. The procession is expected to be very long, and several intersections along the route will be temporarily blocked. As soon as the procession clears an intersection, officers will reopen the roadway to keep delays to a minimum.

You will see a large number of emergency vehicles assisting with this detail. If you plan to observe along the route to honor Corporal Reynolds, please do so safely and remain completely off the roadway.
