As I reflect back over the days leading up to this Christmas, I realize how blessed I am to serve our citizens in District 6 with such a dynamic group of women. These are just a few of the memories I had the opportunity to capture.

I was so honored tonight to speak to the young & the young at heart at the District 6 Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) Christmas Celebration. I truly hope they remember my words when they have to make decisions that may effect their lives. "Think about What, Who & 'Hit the QUAN'"😊

I had a great time today helping the young contestants of the Distinguished Young Women of the Roanoke Valley during their 2nd Annual Christmas Home Tour. I spent several hours in the home of Mrs. Lori Pepper & Mr. Pepper who graciously opened their beautifully decorated home for public viewing to help raise money for scholarships for the contestants. Thank you so much Mr. & Mrs. Peppers. I'm still in awe of the huge St. Nick!!!

2015 Christmas Parades....It's a Wrap!!!

Aulander's 2015 Christmas Parade, the first one in 12 years, was a great homecoming for me. My hometown crowd welcomed me with wonderful Christmas cheer that just sent me to the moon! It was so fitting that my last Christmas parade of the season, #8, took place here where I was raised! The community tree lighting event that followed was beautifully done as well.
