DCA High School students hit the road on Friday to explore TWO amazing college campuses: Winston-Salem State University and Wake Forest University!

Our students had the opportunity to tour both campuses, learn about the incredible academic programs, and get a glimpse of what their futures could hold!

A special THANK YOU to our DCA alumni, Samaryiah (WSSU) and Shakayla (WFU), for graciously welcoming us and leading our tours! We are so proud of you ladies for representing DCA and giving back to the next generation!

A special thank-you to Beryl Miller for sharing information on mental health and well-being, Detective Tyler Busby with the Gastonia Police Department for discussing social media and internet safety, and Tammy Chowdhury and Maceo Mayo for providing valuable information on substance abuse and prevention.

We appreciate you equipping our families with knowledge and tools to help our teens navigate challenges, make healthy choices, and build brighter futures! 💚🩵

💚 Thank you, Sally for coming by to visit your scholar! Taking time out of your day to show up says, “You matter, and I’m cheering for you!” That’s what makes our Sponsor A Scholar relationships so special. 💙

We still need sponsors for our 9th-grade class! Imagine being that person a student looks forward to seeing—someone to listen, celebrate their wins, and encourage them along the way. 😊

If you have room in your heart and a little time to share, please reach out. We’d love to help you make that connection!

💙 Thank you, Tabernacle Baptist Church-Gastonia, for investing in our students! 💚

We are so grateful for your partnership and for the time, encouragement, and wisdom you are pouring into our students through your club “Made for More” with our boys and “Lies Girls Believe” with our girls.

These opportunities help our students grow in confidence, character, and purpose. We appreciate Tabernacle Baptist for believing in our students and reminding them that they are made for MORE! 🌟
