The Wagner-Fulbright park is now open partially after the installation of the new equipment, sidewalks, and other safety measures have been completed. Work still has to been down with canopies. However it has been refreshing to see the kiddos (of all ages) enjoying themselves with the splash pad especially. If you have not had a chance to check it out I urge you to do so. You will see that the work was top notch and professionally done. No second hand equipment this time. And the best part is this was funded by state and federal funds. So those saying it was a waste of Ranlo's tax money, rest at ease. It didn't cost us anything. The work was much needed to fix the many safety and ADA issues that had arisen in the last few years.
This is one example of the focus I have had since serving as your Commissioner the last four years. Yes it takes longer to complete but it is done right.
If you want Ranlo to continue progessing in a responsible way for the future then remember to VOTE for Jamie Fowler this November 7th. Positive results and a positive future.
So after finding those dry rotted picnic tables over the Easter celebration, the town is going to be doing some upgrades to the Fulbright-Wagner park behind town hall and the Garden park on Redland. You will notice work getting done and may experience some park closures from time to time. Our goal is to have things done before the splash pad opens.
Got to watch the Young Bulz get started today. Made me smile watching these kids getting the lessons. We need to show these young boys and girls we support them.
The Ranlo Mills Market event is underway. Come out and see what the vendors have for you. Grab a bite from Will's on a Roll too. Let the kids enjoy the park. The weather is awesome. So get out and enjoy today
It was a great day. Smiley is a free man. After 26 years, he now starts a new chapter. Over 40 people showed up to show their support. He has been a great asset for Ranlo since he started working with Public Works.
