Yesterday, we remember the 49 lives lost at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando and stand with the survivors, families, and communities forever changed by this tragedy.

Pulse Remembrance Day is a time to honor those we lost, reflect on the work still ahead, and reaffirm our commitment to a world where everyone can live openly, safely, and without fear.

Love is stronger than hate. Community is stronger than division. We remember.

Groceries still cost too much.

Families across North Carolina are feeling it every time they check out at the grocery store. Whether it’s eggs, meat, produce, or everyday household items, many people are paying more while trying to stretch the same paycheck.

Working families deserve leaders who focus on lowering costs, strengthening the economy, and helping people get ahead instead of simply getting by.

North Carolinians are still waiting for relief.

What item has increased the most on your grocery bill over the last year?

Reason #1: Home Insurance

Nothing gets our attention quite like opening a bill and discovering it costs more than it did last year.

North Carolina homeowners are facing another proposed insurance increase, putting additional pressure on working families, retirees, and first-time homeowners.

Policies have consequences. Elections have consequences.

“Four reasons to thank a Republican.”

That may sound like an unusual statement coming from Democrats, but here’s what we mean.

Some policies and decisions remind us why civic engagement matters and why elections have real consequences for North Carolina families.

Over the next few days, we’ll share four issues affecting our communities and why staying informed and involved is more important than ever.

Stay tuned.
