Gaston County Meal Sites remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday Feb. 3 due to road conditions from the inclement weather.

Due to the continuing icy road conditions, Gaston County buildings will be closed for Tuesday, February 3. We will post a separate update on the county landfill (which is open today) and our convenience/recycling sites.

Due to large amounts of snow still covering many of our roads, Gaston County buildings will be closed for Monday, February 2.

THANK YOU to Belmont Meals on Wheels volunteer Michelle and her husband for going above and beyond to help make our Belmont meal site entrance safe. They cleared the ice away from the ramp and steps of the meal site making it safer for volunteers and staff to enter. We appreciate you so much!👏🙏🥶
