This Friday for Science class, Miss Phillips and Mrs. Palmer’s classes learned about birds and how their beaks adapt to survive in different environments. Students got to try themselves to catch worms and enjoyed a gummy worm treat as well!

YES 5th and 6th students practiced making predictions and observations in Ms. Gibson’s Science class today by doing a bottle flip investigation with different liquids.

Today, Yuma Third Grade made fizzy ice cream using dry ice. They learned all about sublimation and the different states of matter. They were also able to gain some experience with the correct way to handle dry ice safely and enjoy a sweet treat on a hot day!
