Maj. Brandon A. Harding takes command of the Gate City-based 1030th Transportation Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group from Lt. Col. John R. Crocker during a ceremony Oct. 19, 2025, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. Col. Juanita F. Rohler, 329th RSG commander, presided over the exchange of organizational colors signifying the transfer of command from Crocker to Harding.

Virginia National Guard Soldiers assigned to the Emporia-based 1710th Transportation Company, 1030th Transportation Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group prepare trucks and trailers ahead of a line-haul mission July 19, 2025, at Fort Pickett, Virginia. More than 40 Soldiers are participating in the mission transporting equipment from out of state to Fort Pickett during the company’s annual training.
