We spent some time this afternoon at the Gatesville Messenger Ribbon Cutting and Meet & Greet! We treated ourselves to a delicious hot dog from Gonzo’s Glizzys, cooled off with a snow cone from Double K Freeze n’ Squeeze, and even had a little luck on our side by winning a door prize generously donated by Dr. Betsy Spitzer of Gatesville Family Dental. Thank you Betsy. Those fans will come in handy in this Texas heat! It was a beautiful day filled with sunshine, great food, friendly faces, and community spirit. We wish the Messenger best of luck on the new ownership.

Congratulations to the Jonesboro Eagles on capturing their third State Softball Championship! What an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of these athletes and coaches. Way to make your community proud!
