This afternoon at 1:46 PM, our members were alerted to assist Station 30 (Gates) with a structure fire in our second-due area.

Upon arrival, crews found the front of the structure heavily engulfed in flames. Due to a partial roof collapse, crews transitioned to a defensive attack to safely contain the fire. Engine 22, along with Engine 30, stretched handlines to begin extinguishment efforts, while Engine 22 also utilized its deck gun to knock down the fire.

Station 50 (Eure) responded with additional tankers and manpower to support operations. Through coordinated efforts, crews were able to bring the fire under control, and all units returned to service around 6:00 PM.

πŸš’ Training Night in Action πŸš’

Last month during our monthly training, our members focused on improving their vehicle extrication skills. Crews practiced removing doors on both sides of the vehicle, completing a roof removal, and performing a dash roll.

Hands-on training like this helps ensure our members stay prepared and ready to respond when our community needs us most. πŸ’ͺπŸš‘

Always training. Always ready.
