🩸 A New Lifesaving Advancement for Coryell Health EMS 🩸

We're proud to share that Coryell Health EMS is now carrying whole blood in the field, bringing an advanced level of emergency care directly to patients when it matters most.

For patients experiencing severe blood loss, receiving whole blood before arriving at the hospital can improve outcomes and provide a critical bridge to definitive care.

This achievement would not be possible without the support and collaboration of our incredible partners throughout the region. Thank you to the agencies, providers, hospital teams, and state legislators who helped make this program a reality.

Together, we're advancing emergency care in our region and improving outcomes for the patients in communities we serve.

Out at the Baylor Scott and White blood drive today promoting pre-hospital whole blood. Stop by and see us, here until 1:30pm. There are still appointment times available if you are interested in donating blood. We are at the Baylor Scott and White clinic in Gatesville, next to the Walmart. 🏥 🚑
