With the ongoing extreme heat warnings Animal Control will not be loaning out any live animal traps until further notice. If you have your own traps, we ask that you do not use them until this extreme heat subsides. We will advise when the trap loaner program will be back in operation.

Effective September 1st, 2026, all payments for pet tags & licenses, after hour traffic fines, etc. will not be accepted at the Police Department. Payments may be made at City Hall Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm or made online on the City of Gatesville website.
