Are you caring for a loved one who lives with dementia? Help and support are available through your Otsego County Commission on Aging (OCCOA).

The OCCOA offers adult day services through its Otsego Haus Program, Mondy - Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, please visit our website at: https://otsegocountycoa.org/otsego-haus/

The OCCOA also offers Tender, Loving Caregivers (TLC) Support Group meetings on the first Wednesday of the month.* Please consider attending the next meeting on October 7, when guest speaker Special Projects Coordinator Sydney Funnell, LLMSW, from the Region 9 Area on Aging, will speak about Caregiving for the Holidays.

Here's what happened today at your OCCOA . . . Meal Program Coordinator Wanda Cherwinski and her staff, Kitchen Assistsants Tammy Goletz and Amanda Lester, prepared a delicious End-of-Summer Celebration Curbside meal, which included a Coney dog, potato salad, baked beans, and Dutch apple pie. Thanks to the OCCOA's fabulous kitchen staff and the OCCOA staff volunteers who bagged the meals and served them (Theresa Ross, Brittany Koronka, Charlie May, and Shannon Gapinski)!
