Meridith Frauendienst
I have been an EMT with the Ga***rd Ambulance for almost 5 years. I've worked at Michael Foods in Ga***rd for the last 23 years. I have lived in Ga***rd my whole life and on several occasions loved ones in my life needed to call on the local ambulance service I found a certain level of comfort when familiar faces would walk through the door to help I wanted to give that feeling back to my community.

We have some over flow from EMS week!

Wendy Kube
I have been with the Arlington Area Ambulance for 10 years. First as a first responder and then I finally passed the test and became an EMT. I enjoyed my crew and loved working with the community of Arlington and Green Isle. We have had a group that was like family then it changed to a job. We need more people and businesses need to have more support for their EMT people.
I am slowing down and unable to lift the patients like I use to. It takes me 5 minutes to jump out of bed, dressed and in town now. Just slowing down! But I am still faster than Bob Lueth, Lol!
I was asked to renew my license by a fireman from another town. I was delighted! I will still help as much as my job lets me for the next 2 years.

I have been an EMT for 10 years

I work full time as a Physical Therapist and have a 1 year old boy, Tristan at home with my boyfriend Andy. EMS has always been apart of my life, growing up with parents who are current and former EMTs. When I initially took the class I was not sure where I would end up as I was finishing up my last year of Physical Therapy program or if I would use my EMT coursework. I am grateful for the opportunities and relationships that joining this service has brought me, as well as the multitude of experiences both good and bad. I am very thankful to be able to continue to serve the community I have grown up in, have family residing and my child will be raised in

I have always enjoyed helping others. I was enlisting for the national guard medic, but my plans changed once i had my daughter. After having my daughter i decided to stay, and do what i have always wanted and still be at home.

Meet your ambulance crew continues!

Heather Zellman

I believe that being a part of the community is important to feeling connected and improving the community for others. I've been a member of the Ga***rd Ambulance Service for just over five years. Learning new skills as an EMT has benefited other areas of my life besides being a member of a great group of dedicated people. I am a wife and mother to three boys. My families support has been amazing throughout my time on the ambulance service. The skills I have acquired as an EMT has enhanced my daily job as a child care provider. I have also been able to travel to Guatemala twice. It has been a privilege to work with the Red Cross to train first responders in the rural community where our mission team has been working.

I also want to extend a big THANK YOU to the community for supporting all of us!

Our next Arlington member for EMS week is...

Bob Lueth!

I have been on the Arlington Rea Ambulance for 26 years as an EMT.

I worked as an aircraft mechanic for 48yrs retiring from Elliott Aviation in 2017 as their Director of Maintenance for Charter and Managed Aircraft. When I moved to Arlington the local Ambulance Service was looking for people to become members. I felt this was away to give back to the EMS community, having used the system a few years before. Being an EMT has opened up so many other opportunities for me I would never have experienced such as, working at a PGA event, Target Field, US Bank Stadium(Super Bowl 52) and BIR.

I feel blessed to have met so many caring and giving people thru this career.
