On Thursday, June 4, 2026, TRIAD members held their monthly meeting at Vitale Park. During the meeting, they had the opportunity to take a ride on the Sheriff's Office pontoon boat with Deputy Brian Schirmer from the Navigation Unit.

TRIAD is a committee formed as a partnership among law enforcement, the Office for the Aging, and seniors in Livingston County. Its purpose is to work toward crime prevention targeting the elderly, as well as to serve as an educational and informational resource. Monthly meetings are held to discuss concerns and collaborate on recognizing and addressing issues that may directly effect senior citizens.

On Thursday, June 4th, 2026, a special ceremony was held at the Livingston County Government Center for several students from various school districts throughout the county. Each year, students are selected by their School Resource Deputy as recipients of either the "Do the Right Thing" award or the "Student of the Year" award. Each award has certain criteria that must be met to be selected, and each student selected this year far exceeded those criteria for the award they received!
We want to say a special thank you to each school district for allowing our agency to be part of their team, as well as to the Livingston County Sheriff's Foundation for graciously donating several $50 gift cards to recipients of the "Do the Right Thing" award.

Dansville Central School award recipients were Bryce Ludlow (Do the Right Thing) and Miriam Corbett (Student of the Year)

Genesee Valley BOCES award recipients were Kadin Yack (Do the Right Thing) and Sakora Dean-Cox (Student of the Year)

Keshequa Central School award recipients were Michaela Bugman (Do the Right Thing) and Faith Curry (Student of the Year)

Lima Christian School award recipients were Naomi Kawski (Do the Right Thing) and Eden Falco (Student of the Year)

Livonia Central School award recipients were Lily Rowe (Do the Right Thing) and Olivia Feehan (Student of the Year)

Mount Morris Central School award recipients were Savannah Ebersole (Do the Right Thing) and Yasael Malave Perez (Student of the Year)

York Central School award recipients were Yeriel Diaz-Pena (Do the Right Thing) and Madalena Balisciano (Student of the Year)

Congratulations to all of our award winners, and keep up the great work!
