This is a fantastic move by Kane County State's Attorney's Office; however, the shenanigans have already started and the incumbent clerk has already violated the law: his manual for the election judges tells them to lie in order to circumvent the Illinois Election Code that requires provisional ballots when a voter goes to the polls and did not bring the vote by mail ballot that was previously sent to that voter. Moreover, poll watchers went to the Aurora satellite office on Tuesday but were denied the opportunity to observe the voting process as required by statute.
