Kane County Animal Control oversees rabies registration, protects public safety and ensures the humane care of animals through sheltering, pet placement, education and animal law enforcement. KCAC is responsible for the enforcement of the County Animal Control Ordinance. Together with local law enforcement and city animal controls, we ensure the humane treatment of animals in Kane County. g on where you live in Kane County, you may be served by your local animal control facility, your police department, a state-level agency, or KCAC. For the quickest handling of your concern, first determine whether you live in an incorporated or unincorporated area of the county to make sure you contact the appropriate agency.

Meet Pocket!

This 10-week-old little guy is learning how to take selfies to put himself out there! He is a very silly kitten and would love another cat in the house to play with! Pocket has a special medical requirement. His jaw is off-center and will require intervention when his adult teeth come in. We are looking for an adopter who is prepared to help him with his needs as he becomes a handsome young lad. In return, Pocket promises to keep you entertained and energized! Come meet this cutie during our adoption hours!

This 15-week-old husky mix is looking for her forever home! She loves theatre and was recently crowned Drama Queen! Patti also loves the outdoors and is up for any adventure life throws her way. She does well with people and dogs and would likely do well with cats. Come meet this silly girl during our adoption hours!
