Tonight we took the opportunity to teach some basic low-angle rope skills to our newer members. We covered lowering and hauling systems as well as patient packaging.

Two motorcyclists were seriously hurt after fleeing a traffic stop on Route 14 in Yates County, sparking a chase into Ontario County that ended in Geneva when they hit an uninvolved sedan. Charges pending.

Please use extreme caution when traveling tonight. The rain is causing some flooding in areas along Route 14. Please stay away from the water as it can have more of a current than may appear as well as ditches and culverts.
