π What a WILD afternoon at Emma Knox Kenan Public Library! We had a killer turnout today for our "Day with the Game Warden" program, and it was one for the books!
A huge thank you to Mr. Tim Ward for spending his afternoon with us and sharing so much incredible knowledge with our young patrons. Mr. Tim taught the children all about alligators, the important role of a game warden, and shared fascinating facts about Alabama wildlife and conservation. He also shared several stories from his own experiences in the field β some fun, some serious, and even a few funny ones that had everyone laughing! The kids were completely engaged from start to finish.
Then, Mr. Tim brought out a very special guest β this little alligator friend! π The excitement in the room was unmatched. The children had an absolute blast, asked so many thoughtful questions, and loved getting the opportunity to see an alligator up close.
This program was such a tremendous success and is definitely one we plan to repeat for years to come! We cannot thank Mr. Tim enough for taking the time to invest in our community's children. The memories made today will stay on these kiddos' minds for a long time to come.
