We are one month away from our 2026 BBQ fundraiser on Sunday June 14th. This may be our only fundraiser in 2026 so we are hoping it is a success so we be able to help out our local city and county candidates. Come celebrate Flag Day with us while enjoying a great chicken bbq dinner.

GENEVA — The president of the Black Republican Club of Rochester will be speaking in Geneva on Friday, Feb. 20.

While many of us were able to stay cozy at home during this winter weather, that wasn’t an option for everyone. So many people stepped out into the frigid cold- plow drivers, utility and DPW workers, police and fire, hospital staff, direct support workers, gas station and store employees, and many more- clearing roads, keeping services running, and making sure our community stayed safe.

We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and sacrifice of those who continue to show up when it matters most.

As we ride out the cold week ahead, let’s look out for one another. Stay warm, stay safe, and be good neighbors. ❄️

Today, on the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr., we reflect on the values that strengthen our community here in Geneva: faith, personal responsibility, equal justice under the law, and peaceful civic engagement.

We believe people should be judged by their character, that meaningful change begins with moral conviction, and that Geneva is strongest when we work together to uphold these principles.

The Geneva City Republican Committee proudly hosts Lavelle Lewis, President of the Black Republican Club of Rochester, as he presents "Black Roots, National Impact: How Black Republicans Shaped Civil Liberties in Our Community", February 20th at the Geneva Public Library.

“Little is known about Black Republican leadership and the influence and organizing that took place between cities and towns particularly in Geneva. On February 20, I will be in Geneva presenting some compelling and lesser-known connections between Rochester and Geneva, with the goal of enlightening attendees and challenging common misconceptions about the political and social relationships between races.” -Lavelle Lewis

Congratulations to all re-elected or newly elected city council members, city supervisors and mayor-elect Cecere.
Thank you to ALL candidates who stepped up to take on the very hard, and sometimes unenviable, task of running for office. Whether you won or lost your particular race, all Genevans owe you a debt of gratitude for taking on the task. You are appreciated.
It is very easy for most to say "Let someone else do it." It is not so easy to step forward and say "I'll do it" as each candidate has done.
So, once again, congrats to the winners, and to the losers, hold your heads high. You've done something very few have the courage to even attempt.
