The First Day Hike at Seneca Lake is tomorrow morning at 9:00am, rain or shine! Meetup is at Shelter #2. Leashed pets are welcome. Cider and cocoa will be provided. Let's fill the front of this shelter for our annual photo!

For Seneca Lake State Park, the event starts at 9:00am at our Shelter #1. We will be cleaning up the park, freshening up some flower beds, fixing picnic tables, and maybe planting some shrubs. We hope to see some of you here!

This is the last weekend of the 2023 season for the spraypark! Labor Day, Monday September 4th is the last day that the spraypark will operate.

We have had a great season and look forward to the 2024 season, celebrating 100 years of New York State Parks!

The Sprayground will be open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 11-6. It will be open daily starting on June 24th. Yes we are using an old picture! We look forward to getting some new smiles added to our photo album this season!

It is that time of year again! Next Saturday, May 6th will be the 12th annual I Love My Park Day!!

I Love My Park Day is an annual event that brings together thousands of volunteers to enhance and celebrate New York's amazing parkland.

Join your friends, family and neighbors and sign up today to volunteer at Seneca Lake State Park or your favorite state park or site.

The Sprayground at Seneca Lake State Park is now closed for the season.

Lake swimming is still allowed anywhere along our shoreline except in the Cayuga-Seneca Canal, the boat launch channel, and the marinas.

Vehicle entry is now free on weekdays except for Columbus Day. Weekend/Holiday rates remain at $8.00 per vehicle through Columbus Day.

We would like to remind our our shelter patrons that shelters can be reserved online up to 11 months in advance at www.reserveamerica.com. Weekends in 2023 are already filling up!
