Royal Family Kids wants to thank everyone for their donations and overwhelming support for the foster care community of Kane County. We are already gearing up for next year's camp. If you didn't get a chance to donate, the campaign will be open until June 30th. Total cost for running the 3 camps is $100,000.

If anyone following this thread has any connections with corporate sponsors or foundations that would like to support the other $70,000, please reach out by private message.

One Child at a Time — You Can Be the Difference

There’s a story about someone walking along a beach, throwing stranded starfish back into the ocean. When told it wouldn’t make a difference, they replied, “It makes a difference to this one.”

That’s the heart of Royal Family KIDS.

Children in the foster care system often carry invisible wounds — trauma, loss, and the deep feeling of being forgotten. Many have never experienced consistent love, safety, or the simple joy of just being a kid. Royal Family KIDS Camp creates a space where, even if just for a week, everything changes.

They are celebrated.

They are listened to.

They are safe.

They are reminded — you matter.

No, we can’t change every child’s story all at once. But together, we can change one. And then another. And another. This year, we’re walking in the Starfish Walk to raise funds so more children can experience that kind of love and hope.

Every donation — no matter the size — helps remind a child they are not alone, not forgotten, and deeply loved!

Kick off for our Royal Family Kids Camp started officially with training this weekend. New volunteers gave up 4 hrs on a Friday night and the rest of us joined this morning for 4 more hours. The dedication of this group of mission volunteers is truly admirable!

We have a goal of $100,000 to fund all three camps this year. Please consider joining our Starfish Walk-a-thon on Saturday, May 2nd 2026.
