Last week, 3rd-5th graders at Mulkey Elementary were given the chance to explore local careers through the Steer Your Career event. The Geneva Co Soil & Water District brought the soil tunnel trailer to walk through while discussing what our job entails.

💧🌱 Last week, the Geneva County Extension hosted the 2026 Groundwater Festival for all 4th grade students in Geneva County and Geneva City Schools at the Geneva County Farm Center! This day of conservation education was made possible by our many volunteers from local Geneva Co Soil & Water Conservation District, Alabama Fish and Wildlife, Geneva County Schools, and the Alabama Forestry Commission. 💧🌱
