Julie for Kane

10/23/2026

To my Kane County District 11 neighbors:

I have spent the past year knocking on doors and attending community events, getting to know so many wonderful people.

But…it’s impossible to meet everyone!! If we haven’t connected yet, and would like to do so, drop a line in the chat or email me at [email protected]. I would be happy to give you a call or stop by.

This campaign is about people. I want to hear your concerns, answer your questions, and learn what matters most to you and your family. I am asking for your vote, but first, I’d love the chance to get to know you and earn your trust.

What a gorgeous day to be knocking doors and talking with voters alongside Maura Hirchauer VoteMaura in Geneva and Batavia!

The beauty started at the iconic and historic Fabyan Windmill at Fabyan Forest Preserve.

We are energized and still getting to know more of this fabulous community!!

So…look closely. Can you tell the difference? The picture on the left is our cat Eos. She has funny legs and is only somewhat handicapped.
The picture on the right is Chad. Chad is 5 months old, super friendly and up for adoption at Kane County Animal Control

Again, it is taking a lot of restraint not to bring home this hunk of burning love or any of the amazing animals up for adoption. We think Eos would like him though.

What an energizing day meeting and spending time with so many people that care about our country and community.
The message of the day:
Get out and VOTE!
And so much food was donated for “Unity in the Community”!

One of the many questions voters ask me when I talk with them is, “What exactly does Kane County Government do? And who is my County Board member?”

My answer? A lot!

Roughly 3.9% of your entire property tax bill goes to Kane County government, yet the county provides so many critical essential services that affect our every day lives.

The number one responsibility of government is to take care of its people and keep them safe.
Fiscal responsibility means more than balancing a budget. It means managing taxpayer dollars wisely while ensuring our residents receive the services and support they need.

I have co-written and managed multiple-million-dollar budgets and worked on strategic planning that brings together diverse ideas and perspectives. I understand the importance of making difficult decisions, planning for the future, and working across the aisle to find practical solutions.

People come first. I believe responsible government means protecting taxpayers while investing in the people, services, and communities that make Kane County a great place to live. And that it’s a board members duty to show up and represent their constituents and make sure that every single person has a seat at the table.
