The Town of Genoa Code Enforcement Officer will not be holding office hours tomorrow, Wednesday, May 6th.

There will be office hours the following day, Thursday, May 7 from 10:00am to 12:30pm.

Regular hours will resume next Wednesday, May 13, 10:00am - 12:30pm

Tuesday, March 31 is the last day to pay your land taxes at the Genoa Town Hall. The Town Clerk/Tax Collector will be out of town; however, the Town Supervisor will be in the office on Tuesday, March 31 from 8:30am - 12:30pm to collect FULL PAYMENTS due on March 31.

Tax payments can also be dropped in the black box outside the Town Hall.

NOTICE OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT

TAKE NOTICE, That I, Shannon L. Armstrong, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Genoa, County of Cayuga, State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Genoa for the year 2026, and that I will attend at the Town Hall, 1000 Bartnick Road, Genoa, NY 13071, in the said Town of Genoa from January 6, 2026 to March 31, 2026, the following times:

Tuesdays, 10:00am – 5:30pm
Thursdays, 10:00am – 5:30pm
Wednesdays, 4:00 – 7:00pm, January 7 through February 4

TAKE FUTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before February 10, 2026 without charge or interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest 1% if paid on or before March 2, 2026, and additional 1% for each additional month or fraction thereof hereafter until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the county pursuant to law.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that pursuant to the provisions of the law the tax roll of the Town of Genoa will be returned to the County Treasurer of the County of Cayuga on the 1st day of April 2026.
