The “collection” will consist of various books on the history of Genoa, Douglas County, Alpine County, Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada, all by notable local authors. These books will be available at the Genoa Town Office beginning in mid-December, to research on site, or to check out. Hours available will be Monday – Friday, 9am – 3pm.

Titles include but are not limited to Territorial Lawmen of Nevada, Vol.1 by Robert W. Ellison, Life Among the Piutes, by Sarah Winnemucca Hopkins and The Old Genoa Cemetery: A Walking Tour Books 1-4 by Karen Dustman. We have many more titles, and more coming soon thanks to the generous donations by authors and local historians.
