Many thanks to Hastings Hensel of River Reader Kayaking for leading an educational kayak tour to the historic site of the Battle of Black Mingo, where General Francis Marion and his men defeated Loyalist troops. The tour was part of "A Glorious Cause: South Carolina and the American Revolution," a project made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services administered by the South Carolina State Library.

Today in Georgetown Main Library from 10Am to 4PM!

🎨✨ Our young artists are becoming sculptors! Using wood sticks, Play-Doh, and their imagination, kids are creating their very own statues inspired by *Whisper of My Ancestors*.

This inspiring experience is encouraging both young and old to get their hands on Play-Doh and let their creativity shine! 🌟🗿
