Stepping On is an evidence-based workshop series designed to help older adults reduce their risk of falling and gain confidence in their daily activities. Developed in Australia by Dr. Lindy Clemson and brought to North America by the Wisconsin Institute for Healthy Aging (WIHA), the program is clinically proven to reduce falls by roughly 31%. Participants engage in group discussions and practical exercises over a seven-week period, learning to manage internal risks like strength and vision alongside external hazards in their homes and communities.
