The Hill Country Chapter held their December meeting in Fredericksburg hosted by Letty, Laurie, Lesley & Jennifer. We had a great day of business, fellowship, lunch & exchanging gifts. Lots of blessings. Looking forward to an amazing 2026.

A huge Congratulations to our very own Georgina Hernandez for being recognized as Hill Country Chapter Clerk of the Year for 2025. She is a powerhouse, an amazing City Administrator, and even better friend and mentor❤️

We are truly blessed with the best chapter.

Some HCC members enjoyed a fun evening together, after attending the first day of the Legislative Update Seminar! We may be a smaller chapter, but we have big heart and love each other’s company!

The Hill Country Chapter had a highly successful meeting hosted by the fabulous Georgina Hernandez in Bertram this past Friday. The event was attended by TMCA President Lisa Richardson, who provided a strong delivery of information about our organization, a presentation and overview from General Code, a comprehensive legislative update, by our very own Vice President, Kerri Craig. The gathering also featured lots of fellowship, lunch and an assessment facilitated by our President Laura Calcote.

All,

More rain and devastation have plummeted the Hill Country again this weekend. It seems we cannot catch a break from the water and rising rivers.

The offer stands from the Chapter if you, your family or city/municipality need help or support. The Chapter donated money last week to assist the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund through the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. We are willing to donate additional funds to relief efforts aiding your communities in the aftermath of the storms. Please contact me or any of the Chapter officers for assistance.

HCC President Calcote’s email to Chapter members on July 5th:

Good evening,

It is with a heavy heart that I write this correspondence.

I know the past few days have been devasting for our region of Texas. Tragedy does not adhere to limits. I do not know the words to say right now to bring comfort, but I do hope for the sun to shine again soon over the Hill Country.

If you, your family or your city/municipality need anything, the Chapter is here to support you in any way we can. Please feel free to reach out to me via phone or by email, if there is something I can do to assist or help. We are a team, and we can lean on one another in times of need.
