Rolling roadblocks are scheduled on I-75 between mile points 134–140 from 6 p.m. to midnight for routine maintenance operations.

🔸 Wednesday, Sept. 2 – I-75 North
🔸 Thursday, Sept. 3 – I-75 South

Motorists should use extra caution when traveling through the area. Work is weather permitting.

The Scott County Rumpke Transfer Station at 245 West Yusen Drive, Georgetown, KY will close at 12 p.m. noon on September 7th, 2026 in observance of Labor Day.

Injury Accident update I-64 Westbound

2nd UPDATE:
All lanes are back open in both directions on I-64. There are still clean up crews on scene for a diesel spill, slow down and use caution through this area.

UPDATE:
All East Bound lanes are currently closed.
1 lane of West Bound is currently flowing.

Scott County Fire Department and GEORGETOWN FIRE DEPARTMENT are responding and on the scene of several injury collisions on I-64 Westbound between the 68 & 70 milemarkers.

Traffic is going to be stopped for some time so plan you drive accordingly and expect long delays.

Stamping Ground Rd Closure Update

Scott County Fire crews are on the scene of a serious motor vehicle collision in the 1300 block of Stamping Ground Road.

Avoid this area!! If you are trying to go outbound on Stamping Ground Road, you should still be able to take Frankfort Road to Galloway to get around the area.

Expect that the 1300 block of Stamping Ground Road will be closed for several hours and plan your commute accordingly.

I-75 Closure Update from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office

All lanes are now open as of 9:10 am

I-75 South Bound is shut down near the 128 mile marker due to a collision between 2 semi trucks.

The current estimated time of closure is approximately 2 hours.
