A meaningful milestone honoring the history and legacy of Jarrell ISD 🎓

Today, the Commissioners Court honored Jarrell Independent School District's historic 1916 school site and 110 years of service to the Jarrell community.

The 1916 School served as more than place of learning, bringing generations of students, families, educators and residents together. Congrats, Jarrell ISD, on 110 years of educational service!

What a great achievement!

The Commissioners Court honored Rylen Darter, a student at Legacy Early College High School in Taylor ISD, who won the 2026 UIL 4A Girls Individual State Golf Championship during her freshman season.

Beyond a success on the golf course, Rylen is a straight A student. Congrats, Rylen, on a successful freshman year on and off the golf course!
