Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) of Clear Creek County

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) of Clear Creek County CERT is a proud partner of Citizen Corps and the effort to have everyone in America prepare, train, and volunteer.

It is likely that a large-scale emergency or disaster, be it natural or man-made, will quickly exhaust first responder resources within Clear Creek & Gilpin Counties. For this reason, citizen preparedness & volunteer organizations are critical components of successful response & recovery efforts. Additionally, citizens that are prepared for an emergency will be less of a drain on response efforts.

If trained, citizens may be able to aid first responders. The established Clear Creek County CERT Team has been trained to observe & report unusual situations & behaviors, and also serve as lookouts for wildland fire, and support logistical elements for incidents/emergencies.
