The Power of Us Capital Campaign gave us the opportunity to expand and transform our space into a place designed with children and families in mind: welcoming, child-friendly and built to support healing.

Every journey at WCCAC begins at the red door.

It’s the first door children and their protective family members walk through when they arrive, often for a forensic interview or medical exam.

It may look like an ordinary door, but for the families who walk through it, we hope it marks the beginning of something important: a safe place to be heard, supported and cared for.

Earlier this month, members of our Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) attended the Crimes Against Children Conference in Dallas for an incredible week of learning, networking, and collaboration.

Different law enforcement agencies and partner organizations send their teams, and WCCAC is proud to sponsor several external MDT members to attend as well.
