We are so proud of our boat builders!!

Mark your calendars for August 8th for your chance to bid on this beautiful, handmade boat at Georgetown Working League ‘s Bids & Bites!

This year, the Georgetown Central School has donated the boat built by GCS students with the Maine Maritime Museum to GWL for our Bids 'N Bites auction. It's a beautiful 9' three seat row boat. Come bid on this beauty and our other great items!

They launched boats, played hard, graduated, and celebrated a final Field Day at Reid State Park with the whole school. Last week was the perfect send off for the unforgettable Georgetown Central School 6th Grade Class of 2026!

As the first week of summer begins, we are feeling so nostalgic but incredibly excited for their futures. CONGRATULATIONS to our graduates! May your next chapters be just as bright, fun, and rewarding as your time with us.

Go do amazing things in middle school! And remember, once a Lobster, always a Lobster! 🎓❤️🦞

Forecast? What forecast? We didn't let a little weather dampen our spirits for our favorite Georgetown Central School tradition! After all, Lobsters love the water! 😉💦

We had the absolute best time celebrating Field Day at Reid State Park today. It was the perfect, high-energy way to wrap up the school year.

Wishing all of our amazing students, families, staff, and community members a safe, happy, and wonderful summer vacation! We'll see you in the fall! 🌲🌊✨

Our hearts are full today! 💚 A massive thank you to the incredible volunteers from the Georgetown Working League (GWL) for bringing our memorial garden back to life. Because of your hard work and generosity, we now have a beautiful, peaceful space to properly honor and remember both Ms. Polletto and Ms. Niehoff. ✨

The GWL generously donated both their time and gorgeous plants to make this happen. We also want to give a huge shoutout to Brian Gehan from Climbing Arborist Tree Service for his kind donation of the woodchips that beautifully finished the space. 🪵🌱

We are so incredibly thankful for our wonderful, ongoing partnership with the GWL. Our community is truly a better place because of you all! 🌸🏡

Doors open at 5:00pm for our Art Show and Celebration of Learning exhibits in our halls, and our concert starts at 5:30pm!
