Got Food? Keep It Bear-Proofed!

Bears are active and looking for their next meal. Help keep them wild and our community safe:

-Secure trash cans and keep them locked per Georgetown Municipal Code 8.22.040.
-Never leave food or scented items in your vehicle.
-Bring pet food, bird feeders and other attractants indoors.
-Clean outdoor grills after use.
-Close doors and windows when not in use.

This meeting provides an opportunity to receive updates on current initiatives, learn about upcoming projects and share feedback on community priorities.

**Driving and Parking Instructions

1901 Clear Creek Drive is the Silver Queen Condos clubhouse. To access the clubhouse, drive around the back of the complex and continue up the hill.

Please do not park in front of homeowners’ units. Parking is limited, so please park diagonally to maximize available space.

Come "C" 👀 us at C3 Fest! After last year's hiatus, we're back at the ballfields in Idaho Springs on Sat. Aug. 29 for C3 Fest. This is Clear Creek County's (C3) chance to hang out, have fun, meet first responders 👮👨🏾‍🚒, climb in cool emergency equipment 🚑, and so much more! Local and partner public safety agencies and first responders come out to meet the community we serve.

C3 Fest is free and fun for everyone. We'll have live music 🎸, door prize giveaways, a bounce house, face painting 🖌, and other activities for the whole family. Plus, food trucks will be on site for hungry folks or cranky kiddos 😭. But wait, there's more...

NOTICE: ANNUAL HYDRANT FLUSHING

The Town will begin its annual fire hydrant flushing program on Monday, Aug. 17, 2026. Flushing is an important part of maintaining the Town’s water distribution system and ensuring fire hydrants are operating properly and providing adequate water flow when needed.

Hydrant flushing helps the Town:

Remove sediment and mineral deposits that can accumulate in water mains.

Maintain water quality throughout the distribution system.

Verify that hydrants are functioning properly and accessible for emergency use.

Test water flow and identify potential issues within the water system.

What Residents May Notice
During flushing, residents may temporarily experience:

Discolored or cloudy water, which can occur when sediment in water mains is disturbed. Although the water may look unpleasant, this is generally temporary.

Reduced water pressure while nearby hydrants are being flushed.

Temporary changes in water temperature or appearance.

Minor traffic or access impacts in areas where Town crews are working.

If you experience discolored water, avoid doing laundry until the water runs clear. Running a cold-water tap for several minutes will generally help clear the lines. If discoloration continues or you have questions, contact Town Hall at 303-569-2555.

Hydrant flushing may occur at various locations throughout the community and may take several days to complete. No action is required from residents unless they experience a temporary change in water appearance or pressure.
