Contractors working on the Desha Trunk Sewer Project have notified us of a service disruption scheduled for Monday, August 31, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Affected customers near W Clinton and W College streets have been notified directly, either in person or by door hanger, and will be under a boil water advisory after service is restored.

Wastewater Treatment Plant 1 Update 🚧

Decommissioning of the old side of the plant is progressing! The ditch clean out is complete and multiple structures have been demolished. In the new side, basin biological health continues to improve and we are heading towards plant optimization.

Thank you for your patience today! Our GMWSS Distribution team successfully installed a new shutoff valve to support the upcoming Desha trunk sewer project. This work allows construction to continue while improving our ability to maintain water service during future phases of the project.
