💚🥒⭐ IT’S OFFICIALLY GREEN DAY AT NORTHERN ELEMENTARY! ⭐🥒💚

We are SO proud to share that Northern Elementary moved from YELLOW to GREEN on KSA! This growth represents the hard work, determination, and commitment of our students and staff, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far our little school on the hill has come.

So today, we decided to make a BIG DILL about it! 🥒💚 We kicked off the morning with a schoolwide pep rally to celebrate all of the learning, growing, and success happening at Northern. Students and staff came decked out in GREEN, cheered together, and debuted our brand-new official school music video featuring the Northern Star himself, created by Jessica Tackett to help celebrate the success of our Northern Stars! ⭐🎶

This accomplishment belongs to every student who kept trying, every teacher and staff member who kept encouraging and leading, and every family who continues to support our school.

We worked. We grew. We went GREEN! 💚

We’re kind of a BIG DILL on top of the hill! 🥒⭐

And we’re not finished yet…

🧦⭐ Northern Stars Sock Drive! ⭐🧦

We have an exciting service project coming up, and we are so excited to see what our Northern Stars can do! From October 12–23, we will be collecting new adult-sized socks in their original packaging to donate to veterans at the V.A. Hospital. 🇺🇸🧦

🏆 And there’s a little friendly competition!
The homeroom that collects the most socks will earn the chance to tape Ms. Helsby to the wall! 😂📦

🎨 Sock Box Fun:
K–2 students have already decorated their sock collection boxes during STEAM! (See the attached picture! 😊)
3–5 students will get the opportunity to decorate their boxes during their next STEAM visit.

Let’s fill those boxes and show our veterans how much our Northern Stars care! ⭐💙🧦
