What a great day in New Haven!

Before the town hall, we spent some time roadside holding signs, waving, and visiting with local residents. Then we headed to the library to hear Fred Wellman For MO speak—and New Haven truly showed up! The room was at capacity, with people ready to listen, ask questions, and take part in the conversation.

Thank you to Fred, everyone who helped organize the event, and everyone who came out today to show their support. This is what democracy looks like: neighbors coming together, getting informed, and making their voices heard.

Friday night in Owensville was about so much more than football. ❤️🏈

I had the opportunity to attend Owensville High School’s Tackle the Talk/Alumni Night, and it was such a wonderful example of a community showing up for its kids.

Local businesses joined mental health providers, children’s services, crisis-intervention organizations, and other community resources to connect families with support and information. There was free food, kids everywhere, alumni returning home, and families gathering together under the Friday night lights.

The message of Mental Health Matters was front and center throughout the evening, and I was glad to see a community creating space to talk openly about mental health while also celebrating its students, schools, teams, and alumni.

The Dutchmen came up just short against Eldon, 27–23, but there was certainly no shortage of Owensville pride.

This is what strong communities do. They show up for their kids, support their schools, look out for their neighbors, and make sure people know they do not have to face difficult moments alone.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such a welcoming, meaningful, and genuinely fun community event. Owensville gave us a pretty wonderful picture of small-town Missouri at its best. 💙

This graphic may highlight Grundy County, but the message matters right here in Franklin County, too. 🐄🌾

Agriculture is part of who we are. Our cattle producers, farmers, feed suppliers, equipment dealers, and other agricultural businesses all contribute to the strength of our local economy.

When Missouri’s cattle producers are squeezed by rising costs, unfair markets, or policies that make it harder to keep family farms operating, the effects don’t stop at the farm gate. They ripple through our communities and ultimately through our food supply.

You don’t strengthen Missouri agriculture by weakening the people who produce our food.

Franklin County farmers deserve policies that help them compete, grow, and pass their operations on to the next generation.

We are heading for a massive food crisis and fast. You would think the Farm Bureau would be screaming at the top of their lungs at what this administration is doing. You'd think the governor of MissourI, Mike Keyhoe would be reaching out to farmers across our state to try and head off the crisis that is about to hit Missourians.

You think grocery prices are high now, just wait, famine is about to strike the poor and middle class. Your food that was once safe has lost all regulations so every bite is Russian roulette.

Some can grow their own food but fertilizer shortages will lead to crop failures.

Row crops that feed livestock fail, broad leafed plants poisoned by manure from animals fed grains treated by glyphosate, livestock starve so farmers have to sell to slaughter too early and some will have to kill everything. Poultry, no longer available due to contamination or feed deserts.

No eggs, no dairy, no meat. Winter is coming, fresh produce will face high tariffs coming into the US from Mexico and South America. Foreign beef of unknown origin, high tariffs, unknown food safety. FDA is gutted.

Welcome to the next great depression only this time there's no FDR and his democratic socialism to save Americans.
