Anyone inquiring about posting bond for a detainee may come to the facility 24 hours a day. If an off

icer is not available, you may push the call button in the vestibule to request an officer to assist you. Anyone wishing to add money to a Detainees Account may go to accesscorrections.com, or they may come to the facility at 2522 7th st in Gering, NE 69341 and place money on the kiosk in the lobby vestibule. To setup an online remote visit with a detainee, go to ICSolutions.com and create an account. Once the account is created, find the detainee and pre-determined slots will be available to schedule. Detainees get 2 free visits a week, anymore than 2 can be purchased.

It’s not about the recognition for most of the officers that work for us, each officer has their own reason for doing what they do. But this week is about saying thank you for doing the work no body sees, and we’re thankful it’s getting done. Very few people want to do this job, let alone CAN do this job.

How hard do our officers work? How much do they sacrifice? Did you know the average occupation works about 1,920 hours in a year? Our officers averaged from 2,200 to almost 2,400 hours BEFORE overtime last year.

To each of our employees, we want to take a moment and say thank you for your hard work, your dependability, your sacrifices, and your dedication to a difficult occupation. You do it very well, and we are very thankful to have each and every one of you.
