To setup an online remote visit with a detainee, go to ICSolutions.com and create an account. Once the account is created, find the detainee and pre-determined slots will be available to schedule. Detainees get 2 free visits a week, anymore than 2 can be purchased.

Position Title: Corrections Officer
Department: Scotts Bluff County Detention Center
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $21.69 – $28.08 per hour

Position Summary
The Scotts Bluff County Detention Center is seeking dedicated and professional individuals to join the team as Corrections Officers. This position is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and orderly operation of the facility while supervising incarcerated individuals in accordance with established policies and procedures. If you like a structured reliable job with lots of variety in a faced paced team environment, this may be for you!

Key Responsibilities

Maintain security and control of inmates within the detention facility
Supervise inmate activities, movement, and conduct
Conduct regular inspections of housing units and facility areas
Enforce facility rules, regulations, and applicable laws
Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records
Respond to emergencies including disturbances, medical situations, or security breaches
Conduct inmate intake, booking, and release procedures
Monitor surveillance systems and perform security checks

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Must be at least 19 years of age
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment screening, and Urinary Drug Test
No Convictions with a punishment of a year or more
