Save the date for October 18th from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM for our open house.

Bring the whole family out for a fun day at the firehouse! We’ll have food, fire trucks and equipment, station tours, kids’ activities, and a chance to meet your local volunteer firefighters.

Our cadets will also be selling address signs, Flames will have information about Knox Boxes, and we’ll have Roth ID Tags available to help keep important information accessible to first responders when every second counts.

We’re proud to serve our community, and we’d love to see you there!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Santa Fe Fire Protection District and Germantown Fire District 9-Pin No-Tap Tournament!

Because of the great turnout and generosity of everyone involved, we were able to donate $3,000 to BackStoppers. This organization does so much to support the families of first responders who have made the ultimate sacrifice, and we're proud to do our part to help their mission.

Thanks to all the bowlers, Bartelso Bowling Lanes, and the volunteers for making this happen!

We’re excited to share that we’ve been awarded an IDNR grant in the amount of $6,924.50 to help enhance our rural water capabilities. This funding will support improvements that strengthen our water infrastructure and help us continue providing reliable service to our community. Thank you to IDNR for investing in rural communities and sustainable water resources!

IDNR has awarded $495,000 in federal grants to 73 volunteer fire departments across the state to help with purchasing new equipment or paying for fire training.

The Volunteer Fire Capacity (VFC) grant program is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service. The program provides matching funds to aid fire departments in the purchase of new equipment and helps fund training. Funding is passed through IDNR to local fire departments and fire training academies.

The 73 grantees provide fire protection to about 250,000 Illinois residents, primarily in rural areas of Illinois.
