Earlier, we had a post about our senior center kitty, Big Boy, who we feared was stolen. Turns out, we’re not the only ones who loves to care for him. With the weather, there was concern about him and wanted to make sure he was safe. He will be back to his senior center home this afternoon! We’re thankful and relieved for a happy ending! Thank you all for your care and support!

For those who haven’t seen on the news, the senior center will be closed through Friday! Stay safe and warm!

Temperatures will remain well below normal through Thursday. Some subzero readings will be possible tonight. A low pressure system will bring accumulating snow of 1 to 3 inches Friday into Friday night.

Happy Veterans Day to all who have served and are still serving! We loved honoring some of you at our Veteran’s breakfast! Thank you Lizz with New Lebanon Health and Rehab, Farmer in the Deli, and Pinnacle Point Church with your help in making this breakfast special! Also, thank you to our quilting instructor, Anita Huber, and all the quilters who worked hard on making this beautiful quilt, in which Jim Pelfrey won this year! It was a wonderful breakfast!

National Night Out 2023 in Germantown will be held on August 1, 2023 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Veteran's Park. We will have school supplies, give aways, food and fun.

National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

We hope to see you on August 1st!
